The whiskery shark, Furgaleus macki, is a hound shark of the family Triakidae, the only member of the genus Furgaleus, found worldwide on the continental shelf in the subtropical eastern Indian Ocean, from southern Australia from Shark Bay (probably as far north as Exmouth Gulf) to eastern Victoria and Tasmania at depths of up to 220 m. It grows to 1.6 m long. -
